Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Edgar Chavez ("we", "us"), who provides MoveOn at moveon.coach. By creating an account or using MoveOn, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use MoveOn.
1. What MoveOn is
MoveOn generates weekly training plans (gym, running, pilates and mobility sessions), lets you log how your sessions went, and lets you connect with buddies to see each other's weekly progress and send encouragement.
2. Health and safety
MoveOn provides general fitness information, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, or are pregnant. Stop exercising and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
You train at your own risk. Choose weights and intensity you can handle with good form. Exercise videos linked from MoveOn are third-party content on YouTube that we don't control.
3. Your account
You need an account for some features. Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us at hello@moveon.coach if you think your account has been misused. You must be at least 16 years old to use MoveOn.
4. Free plan and MoveOn Pro
The free plan includes a weekly gym plan, an intensity setting, check-ins, stats and buddies. MoveOn Pro adds paid features such as a custom weekly schedule, running, pilates and mobility sessions, longer sessions and accent colours.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.
Paddle handles payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds for MoveOn Pro under the Paddle Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms). In short:
- Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout, plus any tax that applies where you live.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, your first payment is taken when the trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from Profile → Manage subscription, or at paddle.net. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it for a short time; Pro stays on meanwhile and ends if payment doesn't succeed.
- We'll tell you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect for your subscription.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use MoveOn to:
- break the law or help anyone else do so;
- harass, threaten or spam other users, including through buddy invites or reactions;
- commit fraud, impersonate someone, or use payment details that aren't yours;
- upload content you don't have the right to share, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property;
- probe, overload, scrape or interfere with MoveOn's systems or security, or access accounts or data that aren't yours.
6. Your content
You own what you add to MoveOn, such as your profile photo, name and notes. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service, for example showing your name and photo to your buddies. You can change or remove it at any time.
7. Our service
Edgar Chavez owns MoveOn, including its software, design, workout library and brand. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using MoveOn as offered.
We work to keep MoveOn running well, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every plan suits your goals. We may change, add or remove features over time.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using MoveOn at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account for a material or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, or a security or fraud risk. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, MoveOn is provided "as is", and Edgar Chavez isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries arising from exercise you choose to do. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for MoveOn Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Continuing to use MoveOn after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
